So here is a second article for testing purposes. So far, I have focused too much on the single column layout. The home page layout is obviously important, so I’m working on that now. I need to change the style of the Categories area. I’m not liking the way they display anymore.

I need to see if there is a way to set the attributes of WordPress to automatically set the first letter of the first paragraph as a “drop-cap.” I doubt it. I’ll just have to remember to turn it on. I tried setting it in CSS using p:first-child:first-letter, but that makes all the first paragraphs of any post or page style that way. I need to find a way to filter it.

I’m not going to link this article to external sources to speed up load times. If I find myself in a low/no bandwidth area, then iframes and images will make loading time longer, and it’s just pointless at this point, anyway. I’ve styled iframes as best as possible.
