I came across a pitfall when I put quote marks in the post’s title. When I shared the link to clouthub, the preview card mangled the title. So, I am writing up this post in the development side to test my theory. I probably need to escape the quote marks somehow so they show up properly. I think what is happening is that in the meta tag, the content attribute is being “closed” by the quote marks in the title string.

You see the problem? The opening quote on sanitize is closing the content attribute value. So, I need to come up with a fix. The problem is testing. Social media sites cache shared links, but I hope that changing the meta properties will cause it to update. Anyway, enough. Let’s do this!
